Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
1. Who we are
DunGuard is operated by Nie Wen ("we", "us"), based in China. Privacy contact: support@dunguard.app.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, and account settings.
- Product data: billing data from your connected Stripe account — invoices, subscriptions, payment statuses, and the email addresses of your customers whose payments fail, which we process solely to send them payment-recovery emails on your behalf — plus your alert settings and email-template configuration. We process this only to provide the Product to you.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment, the product purchased, and billing status.
- Support communications: messages you send to support@dunguard.app.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and operation of the service.
3. How we use it
- To provide, operate, and improve the Product.
- To grant access after purchase and manage subscriptions.
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
- Creem — payment processing, tax handling, and purchase records (merchant of record).
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the service.
- Email delivery provider — to send account, recovery, and support emails.
- Authorities, only where required by law.
5. Cookies
We use only cookies that are essential for the site and Product to function (for example, keeping you signed in and remembering settings). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
- Account and Product data: kept while your account is active; deleted or anonymized within 30 days after account closure, except where retention is required for tax or legal records.
- Payment records are retained by Creem under its own policies and legal obligations.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No system is completely secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact support@dunguard.app and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. International transfers
We and our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Product is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is published at https://dunguard.app/privacy.html with its effective date.
